This is a very small camera, and the only one in this hub that runs on its own battery. Both facts point to the same use: a place where a camera is needed for a while and there is nowhere to plug one in.
A vacation rental between guests. A garage shelf. A room being watched while building work happens. Anywhere a cable would be a problem and a bracket would be an imposition. Liretope states 4K capture with a 160° lens, which from a shelf covers a whole room without panning, and infrared night vision for the dark.
A battery camera sleeps between events, and the fraction of a second it takes to wake is the fraction in which somebody enters the frame. That is inherent to the design, not a fault of this model, and it is why battery cameras are better at confirming what happened than at capturing the beginning of it.
The second is the size. A camera small enough to sit unnoticed on a shelf is small enough to be picked up, and it takes its own recording with it. If what is in the room matters, the recording should not be in the room.
The format invites placement in rooms where people do not expect a camera. That is a legal question as much as a practical one, it is answered differently from one state to the next, and the answer is not on a product page. Read what your own state’s law says — and what it says about recording sound — before placing any camera in a space other people use.
Short-term watching where mains power is not available. Not the camera to build a house’s security around.

Liretope states a long runtime without publishing the number of daily events it assumes, and that assumption is what decides the answer. A camera in a room nobody enters lasts a long time; the same camera in a hallway will be woken dozens of times a day and last a fraction of it. Where a maker does not publish the assumption, we do not estimate one.
Less than it sounds. Indoor distances are short, and a 160° lens spreads its pixels across a very wide scene, so the detail at the edge of the frame is nothing like the center. The resolution is real; the benefit over 2K in a room is small.
It depends what you want from it. Its size is why it fits anywhere, and also why it is the easiest camera here to remove. Do not use it as the only record of a room that matters — and do not place it anywhere a person would reasonably expect not to be filmed.
