One cable per camera, and nothing depends on the Wi-Fi holding up · review
ieGeek IE92 review
The only wired kit here whose cameras pan and tilt. ieGeek states 8 MP at 3840 × 2144, color night vision to 15 m (49 ft), AI detection with auto-tracking, and two-way audio, on an eight-channel PoE recorder.
The conclusion The wired kit for an awkward plot. Set a home position on every camera before you finish the installation.
Every other kit in this hub uses fixed cameras. This one uses four that pan
and tilt, which changes the arithmetic of covering a property: four moving
heads reach corners that would otherwise need six or eight fixed positions
and six or eight cable runs.
What that buys, and what it costs
It buys coverage per cable run, which on a house with a front, a side passage,
a rear yard and a garage is exactly the constraint. It costs four mechanisms
living outdoors, and four cameras that can be looking at the wrong thing.
The second cost is manageable and most owners never manage it. Set a home
position on each camera — the entry that matters most in its area — so that
after tracking somebody across the yard, it returns there rather than
finishing wherever they left.
Resolution and light
8 MP at 3840 × 2144, with color night vision stated to 15 m (49 ft). That published
distance is worth noticing: most listings claim color at night without saying
where it stops. Beyond it, the listing says nothing: the lighting comes from
eight white LEDs, with no infrared stated.
Who it suits
A plot with more corners than a normal kit has cameras. Not the first choice
for a simple rectangular garden, where fixed cameras are cheaper and have
nothing to wear out.

What reassures, and what does not
Strengths
Motorized pan and tilt on every camera — unusual in a wired kit
8 MP with color night vision stated to 15 m (49 ft)
AI detection with auto-tracking at each camera
Split-screen viewing across phone and PC
Compromises
Four motorized heads are four more mechanisms in the weather
Color night vision stated only to 15 m (49 ft), from eight white LEDs
A tracking camera is pointed away from its home position after every event
More expensive than the fixed 8 MP kits from Loocam and ZOSI

The questions we are asked
Why put motorized cameras on a wired system?
Because a fixed camera covers one angle and a house has more corners than a kit has cameras. Four moving heads cover a plot that would otherwise need six or eight fixed ones. The cost is four mechanisms outdoors and four cameras that can be pointed away from what matters.
Should auto-tracking be left on?
Only with a home position set. A tracked camera ends every event pointed wherever the subject went, which is usually away from the entry you bought it to watch. With a home position it returns; without one it drifts.
Is 15 m (49 ft) of color night vision a limitation?
It is a published limit rather than a vague claim, which is to the manufacturer's credit. Beyond 15 m (49 ft) the listing does not say what the image shows: its only lighting is eight white LEDs. For a yard it is ample; for a long drive it is not.
