Fire ratings are a time and a temperature, and paper and drives differ · review
JUNDUN F26 review
A fire-resistant document folder rather than a box: double-layer silicone-coated fiberglass with a three-digit combination lock, a handle and an internal elastic organizer, at 36 × 26.9 × 10 cm (14.2 × 10.6 × 3.9 in).
The conclusion Portability rather than protection. Excellent as a grab bag, weaker than a box as a fire product.
This is a folder, not a safe, and the distinction is the review.
What it is for
Keeping the household’s documents together in one place, dry, organized, and
with a handle on top. In a flood, a leak, an evacuation or a house move, that
is genuinely valuable — a bolted safe protects papers and cannot hand them to
you on the way out.
What the fire claim does and does not say
JUNDUN states resistance to 2000 °F. That is a material property. It is not a
rating: a UL 72 classification states a duration and the internal temperature
that was not exceeded, and both are what tell you whether paper inside
survives.
Where a rating is incomplete, this site reports it as incomplete rather than
filling in the missing half. Read the claim as “made of fire-resistant
material” and not as “documents inside survive a house fire”.
The three-digit lock
A thousand combinations, which keeps a folder closed and casual readers out.
It is not security and it is not sold as such.
The better arrangement
Both. The papers that cannot be reissued in a rigid rated box; the working set
in a folder like this. They solve different problems and neither replaces the
other.
Who it suits
A household that wants everything in one carryable place.
Availability
Listed but with no offer on the American Amazon store — the reference exists there and nobody is currently selling it.

What reassures, and what does not
Strengths
Soft, light and carryable — it can leave the house with you
Full A4 without folding, at 36 × 26.9 cm (14.2 × 10.6 in)
Internal elastic organizer so papers stay sorted
Three-digit lock keeps it closed and casual eyes out
Compromises
A fabric envelope offers far less protection than a rigid box
The listing states 2000 °F resistance without a duration or an internal limit
No. A rigid box with an insulating layer and a published UL classification protects far better, and the difference is what the two products are for. A bag is for portability and a box is for protection — and if the papers never move, buy the box.
What does 2000 °F mean here?
A material property claimed by the manufacturer, without a duration or a stated internal temperature. A UL 72 classification gives both, and this does not — so this page reports the claim and does not translate it into protection. Where a rating is incomplete, treat it as incomplete.
What is it actually good for?
Keeping documents together, dry, and grabbable. In a flood, a leak or an evacuation, a single folder with everything in it and a handle on top is worth a great deal, and that is a real use that a bolted safe cannot serve.
