Brennenstuhl JARO 3060 P review
Brennenstuhl states 2,300 lumens, a 10 meter (32.8 ft) detection range with adjustable sensitivity, named Everlight SMD emitters, and spring terminals that need no tools to wire.
The conclusion The one that makes the wiring easy, with an adjustable 10 m (33 ft) range. Worth the premium over the unbranded lights.
Two things separate this from the cheaper floodlights in this hub, and both
are practical rather than photometric.
A published detection range
Ten meters, with adjustable sensitivity. Every light in this hub publishes one, from 10 to 21 m (33 to 69 ft), and it is the figure that decides where the light goes: a 10 m (33 ft)
sensor covers a normal drive from the house wall and does not cover a long
one.
Being able to reduce the sensitivity matters just as much. A floodlight
triggering on the pavement is a floodlight the household disables.
Tool-free terminals
You are on a ladder, at arm’s length, in failing light. A spring terminal takes
a stripped conductor with a push instead of a screw, and it cannot be
under-tightened — which is the commonest fault in an outdoor connection.
It sounds trivial and it is the difference between a straightforward
installation and a bad-tempered one.
Named emitters
Everlight SMD LEDs, from an actual manufacturer, rather than an unnamed
emitter. It is not a guarantee of anything and it is more information than any
other light here provides.
One thing this does not change
Wiring a fixed mains floodlight on an outside wall is regulated work in
several countries. Easy terminals do not alter who is allowed to do it.
Who it suits
Anybody fitting the light themselves, on a normal drive.

What reassures, and what does not
Strengths
Detection range published: 10 m (33 ft), with sensitivity adjustment
Named LED supplier — Everlight — rather than an anonymous emitter
Tool-free spring terminals make the wiring far easier
Shock resistant, maintenance free, low heat, stated by the manufacturer
Compromises
More expensive than the unbranded lights here
2,300 lm from 20 W: 115 lm/W, behind the Philips’s 143 lm/W
Wiring a mains floodlight is still a job for somebody competent

The questions we are asked
Why do spring terminals matter?
Because you are usually on a ladder, at arm's length, in poor light, with a screwdriver in one hand. A terminal that accepts a stripped conductor with a push rather than a screw turns an awkward five minutes into thirty seconds — and a better-made connection, because it cannot be under-tightened.
Does naming the LED supplier mean anything?
A little. Everlight is a known manufacturer, which means the emitters have a specification behind them rather than being whatever was cheapest that month. It is not a guarantee, and it is more than any other listing in this hub offers.
Can I wire this myself?
That depends on where you live and what you are competent to do. A mains floodlight on an external wall is fixed wiring, and in several countries that work is regulated. The terminals make the connection easy; they do not make the job unregulated.

20 W · 2,200 lm · 6500 K · IP66 · adjustable SENS, TIME and LUX
A 20 W motion floodlight at 2,200 lumens and 6500 K, rated IP66, with three separate adjustments: sensitivity, on-time and the ambient light level below which it will trigger.
Best for: A first security light where the three adjustment dials matter more than the brand.
