HITELLARCAM CB54W review
A dual-band battery camera at the price most single-band ones sell for. HITELLARCAM states 2K capture, color night vision, AI person detection and free cloud storage for clips alongside a card slot.
The conclusion The cheapest sensible battery camera here, and the only one at this price with a second Wi-Fi band. Buy a card and treat the free cloud as temporary.
Battery cameras are bought to escape a cable and they fail on Wi-Fi more often
than on charge. That is what makes this one interesting: HITELLARCAM states
dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz support at a price where single-band is the norm.
Why the second band matters here
A battery camera at the end of a garden has two enemies — distance and
congestion. The 2.4 GHz band reaches further and, in any street of houses, is
crowded with every router and doorbell for fifty meters. The 5 GHz band is
shorter-range and usually empty. Having both means the camera can take
whichever works, rather than repeatedly waking, failing to associate and
flattening its own battery.
The runtime figure, and what it does not say
The listing states months of runtime. It does not state the number of daily
triggers that figure assumes, and that assumption is the whole answer. We do
not convert an unqualified claim into a number of weeks, because doing so
would be inventing the missing half of it.
What can be said is structural: every battery camera lasts as long as its
triggers allow, so the placement decides the runtime more than the cell does.
Point it across an approach rather than along a pavement.
Storage
There is a card slot and there is a free cloud tier. Use the card. A free
tier from a small brand is a marketing decision, not a specification, and it
can be withdrawn on any Tuesday.
Who it suits
Somebody putting a first camera somewhere a cable cannot go, on a network
that is already busy. It is the entry point of this hub and it earns the
place.

What reassures, and what does not
Strengths
Dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz — genuinely rare on a battery camera this cheap
Free cloud storage for clips as well as local card recording, per the manufacturer
Color night vision rather than monochrome infrared alone
Fully wireless, so the mounting position is not decided by a socket
Compromises
Runtime is stated as "months" with no event count behind it
Very little brand history, and no published firmware record
Card not supplied
Free cloud tiers on unknown brands have a habit of becoming paid ones

The questions we are asked
How long does the battery really last?
The manufacturer states months of runtime without publishing the number of daily triggers that figure assumes, and that assumption is what decides the answer. A camera facing a quiet garden will go a season; the same camera facing a pavement will be woken dozens of times a day. Where a maker does not publish the assumption, we do not invent one.
Why does dual-band matter on a battery camera?
Because 5 GHz is usually far less congested, and a battery camera that struggles to connect wakes repeatedly and drains itself trying. In a street of routers all shouting on 2.4 GHz, the second band is worth more than an extra megapixel.
Is the free cloud storage a catch?
Treat it as a bonus rather than as a reason to buy. Free tiers from small brands are the first thing to change when a company's costs rise, and the card slot is the part of the specification that will still be there in three years.

The buyer this one serves, among security devices
A first battery camera where the Wi-Fi at the far end of the property is the real problem.
Amazon reports what buyers took in the month before this page was last checked: at least 200.
The figure is a floor, rounded by Amazon, and read through Keepa — it says what buyers picked, not what a maker claims.

2K · BC solar cell · 360° PTZ · AI PIR detection · card to 128 GB · 2.4 GHz
COOAU states a back-contact solar cell with over 30% better charging efficiency than conventional panels, behind a 2K pan-and-tilt camera with AI-assisted PIR detection and local card storage to 128 GB.
Best for: A position with weak or intermittent sun, where charging efficiency matters more than peak output.
2K 3MP · battery, 3–6 months stated · PIR detection · siren and light · 2.4 GHz
ieGeek publishes an unusually specific runtime — three to six months per charge — alongside 2K capture, PIR detection and a siren with a white light. It works indoors or out, and it is 2.4 GHz only.
Best for: A shed, a side return or a room with no socket, where the camera should be left alone for a season.
2K 3MP · solar · 355° × 120° PTZ · color night vision to 15 m (49 ft) · card to 128 GB · IP65
A fully wireless solar pan-and-tilt camera with a 130° lens, 2K capture and color night vision stated to 15 m (49 ft). ieGeek supplies warning stickers with it, which is a small detail that says something about how it expects to be used.
Best for: A garden or driveway with sun, where the camera should also be seen to be there.
