MATHFEL MF-2K review
A four-apartment two-wire system with four 7-inch touchscreens and a fisheye outdoor camera stated at 170° in the listing title and 140° in its description. MATHFEL states automatic recording on motion or on a ring, with playback from the monitors or the Tuya app.
The conclusion A specialist system for a four-dwelling entrance, and the wrong purchase for anything smaller.
This system exists for one situation: an entrance shared by four separate
dwellings, each of which needs its own panel and its own release.
What a multi-occupancy entrance needs that a house does not
One outdoor station with four call buttons, four monitors that ring
independently, and a bus that carries all of it on a single pair of
conductors through a riser. Wiring four separate doorbells to four apartments is
not a scaled-up version of wiring one; it is a different problem, and this is
the answer to it.
For a single house, it is three monitors of waste.
The fisheye
The listing title says 170°, its description 140°: either way, far more than the door frame.
Shared entrances are where parcels are left and where people wait, and a
narrow lens misses both. The cost is curvature at the edges of the frame,
which is inherent to the lens and not a fault.
The app question
Remote access goes through Tuya — playback also works on the monitors — rather than a manufacturer platform.
That is a large, established ecosystem that is unlikely to vanish, and it is
also outside MATHFEL’s control. On a system four households will depend on for
a decade, that is worth thinking about before buying.
Who it suits
A converted house or a small block with four dwellings and one door. Nothing
else.

What reassures, and what does not
Strengths
Four monitors and one outdoor station — the whole system for a small block
Two-wire bus, reusing existing riser cabling where it exists
The wide lens, 140° to 170° per the listing, covers the entrance area
Automatic recording on motion or on a ring, with playback
Compromises
Only makes sense for a genuinely multi-occupancy entrance
Tuya app rather than a manufacturer's own platform
Conflicting angle: 170° in the listing title, 140° in its description
By far the most expensive system here

The questions we are asked
Is this useful for a single house?
No. It is priced and wired for four dwellings, and a single household would be paying for three monitors it does not need. The two-monitor systems in this hub are the right answer for a house.
What does a lens this wide give up?
Straightness and edge detail. A fisheye covers the entire entrance area including the ground at the door, which is exactly what a shared entrance needs, and it curves everything at the edges of the frame. It is the right lens for the job and it will not produce a flattering portrait.
Is the Tuya app a concern?
It is a large third-party platform rather than a manufacturer's own, which cuts both ways: it is unlikely to disappear, and the manufacturer does not control its updates. For a shared entrance where several households depend on it, that is worth weighing.
